Location info
Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel has a stunning location with plenty of nearby attractions and dining options. The rooms were not as clean as expected, with bugs and blood on the sheets. The service was attentive except for the unaddressed room cleanliness issue.
Upon check-in, we experienced a delay of almost an hour before our room was ready, which was a bit inconvenient. However, once in the room, we found it consisted of two spaces offering extra comfort and a convenient sink area. The location is ideal for those who enjoy walking to popular attractions around town but the price for some services was on the higher side. The dining options were average, with some items unavailable, but staff were accommodating. Overall, a decent stay with a few minor setbacks.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room size met our needs for a group of six, but unfortunately, it was not as clean as expected, with dirty towels from the prior guest and bugs found during our stay. The service was helpful and friendly, but there were some issues with communication and availability. The location was convenient for exploring San Diego on foot, but there were some disappointments with the facilities. The dining experience offered a good variety of high-end hotel options, including a delicious vegetarian couscous.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were great, large, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. However, there were issues with cleanliness and bugs in the room. The service could have been better, with some staff members appearing annoyed and unhelpful. The location was ideal for exploring the Gaslamp District and Convention Center, although there were some concerns about the homeless population nearby. The dining experience had its flaws but offered delicious options. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives during my stay.
The living area setup ensures a quiet stay without hallway noise, though the bed was only average in comfort.
